![]() What is happening to me is that CRD works just fine, but after some random amount of time a machine will go "offline" and when I go to that machine and open up CRD, I have to reinstall CRD again. I automatically log into my gmail account on Google Chrome when opening Chrome, which I use as my main browser. When doing so, I gave it all the requested permissions to work on Settings including Screen Recording. If that's what's happening to you we are not having the same issue. I downloaded Chrome Remote Desktop on my MacBook Pro, Early 2013, macOS Catalina v10.15.4 about a week ago. I've tried reinstalling Chrome, reinstalling CRD countless times, tried CRD in Edge, etc. and remote-to-remote sync, while also giving you more fine-grained control. However after some arbitrary amount of time (observed to be anywhere from 3-10 hours) all of a sudden CRD would not work anymore, and if I go to the host computer I see the "A problem was detected with the Chrome Remote Desktop installation on this computer." (see image). The gold standard of macOS file transfer apps just drove into the future. Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. So after moving my two work Macs to Monterey (clean install, no migration) I installed Chrome and Chrome Remote Desktop, and everything seemed fine.
